TACSPEC® BRIEF-CASE
This is the finest equipment case in the world, the DZ7-GM.
Every ZERO Halliburton aluminum Case starts with a two-ton coil of
aircraft-grade aluminum.
After being cut into individual pieces, the aluminum is "deep-drawn" over
special steel dies using 440 tons of pressure. As the shape is formed, the
molecular structure of the aluminum actually changes, resulting in a shell
that's free of wrinkling, distortion and manufacturing inconsistencies.
Following the deep-draw process, the shell is heated to more than
1000 degrees fahrenheit and then quickly cooled, making the aluminum even
stronger and more durable.
Each shell is then buffed and electro-chemically anodized to add
color and prevent corrosion.
After the shell is completed, it takes the skillful hand of a trained
craftsman - and about 250 operations - to make each case worthy of the ZERO
Halliburton name.
"I have a piece of Zero Halliburton luggage that is more than 50 years
old. It went with me to college in 1947-1949, the Carribean, Europe, and
many domestic trips from then 'til now. I know there is no other luggage
manufacturer that could show a 50-year-old piece of used luggage in this
fine condition."
-- D. Geraghty of California, singing the praises of her lifelong friend.
"Since there wasn't enough time to find my keys, unlock the door and stop
the car, I placed my Zero Halliburton case in front of the wheel's
path. The car stopped and the case suffered barely any damage at
all. Although I could do without all the attention the case attracts, I do
tell this story to everyone who comments on the case."
-- A. Moore of New Hampshire, after using his case to stop his new car from
rolling down the hill.
"I fell face forward, hitting with all of my weight on my Zero Halliburton
case in front of me. I bounced from step to step and rode that bouncing
ride all the way down the escalator. I was very shaken up, but unhurt. Even
my notebook computer was unhurt."
-- D. Pickel of Texas, after losing his footing while getting on a downward
escalator.
